After they announce the hiring of our HC, will you come back to this post and explain why, or why not, GW was/wasn't hired?

Dexter!

Other than ESPN, NFL Network, and othe Sports related programs, I'm really not a television person. The only show that I've ever really watched on a consistent basis was Friends, and that finished a few years ago.

BUT......

I started watching a series on Showtime a few weeks ago and I must say ...

As critical as I've been of Dan Snyder I just can't see him namimg a HC who didn't have some input as to who the OC and DC were. So all indictions point to Fassel...even I don't think Synder is that stupid....please tell me I'm not wrong!!

The way Snyder makes all these ridiculous moves, he should consider hiring himself to be the next Head Coach. He knows absolutely nothing about how to run a football team, yet he acts like he knows exactly what he is doing. He wants to be so involved in the way things are conducted on the field, he ...

Why are people so quick to say Cowher is the man for the job. First of all, he's already said he does NOT want to coach next season. Interesting strategy, I hope it works.

I don't do much sports betting, and I make it a point never to bet on, for, or against the Redskins. People often ask me why, and they think that if I really like the Redskins fans, I shouldn't be afraid to bet for them. And, all I can ever say to them is ...

I am personally hoping that Brunell retires so that his contract magically disappears. He would make a great #3 (or, I think, even a #2), but he makes far too much money for that role—and he's expendable.

It'd be nice if his contract magically disappeared - but it doesn't - wouldn't - won't - if ...

Mike Martz canned as OC in Detroit!

Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse for Detroit, they give the ol' heave ho to Mike Martz. That team has more problems than Barry Sanders had career yards!! Matt Millen has taken that franchise and destroyed it, piece by piece!! It's a pity, I like Millen!

What do you think is the PRIMARY key to the game on Saturday

If you could pick ONE thing that you say is the key to a Redskins victory this Saturday, what would you say it is? ONE THING?

I'll kick it off (no pun intended), and I say it's for the Redskins to come out of the starting gates with passion and intensity, that might allow them to get an early ...

Your top 3 quiet un-recognized impact players?

Here are the 3 players that I think are making a very quiet, yet HUGE impact for the Redskins this year, though not getting widespread recognition...

Andre Carter - While not exactly "dominating", he's having a great year and continues to improve week by week.

Stephon Heyer - Incredibly ...

You say in your post that, even without the penalty, we could have kicked a field goal or punted and still won. Not so, the Vikes would have had the ball. The turn around number for the play was fourteen. That was enough for the Vikes to win.

Re: Who says Gibbs doesn't know football?

Anyone who says that Gibbs doesn't know the rules of football are out of their minds. In addition, those that will inevitably say that it wasn't Gibbs who caught the 12 man infraction need to look at it from the proper perspective. The QC coaches job is to transmit that type of information to Gibbs ...

How is that a stretch? The most likely scenario is that Khayat or whoever else was in the booth noticed the 12 men and advised Gibbs to challenge the play.

It's a stretch because Bill Khayak's job is to spot things like that, and to notify Gibbs. Khayak doesn't tell Gibbs to challenge a play ...
