I'n still with Rock...he's hungry and cheap. He will succeed in Gibb's offense. If we can get a high profile RB in the draft then that would be great too...but I believe that our defense really needs some help...defensive tackle, safety...

I'm with you all...Rock is a hungry RB. Spurrier only gave him a few opportunities and he showed the crowd how good he can be. I am hoping that Betts will eventually turn into a featured RB soon.

What about Ron Dayne...NYG doesn't use him much...is he a FA?

Jake, we've gotta find a big bruiser for a RB...built like Riggins. I wish we could get Stephen Davis back. Duce Staley and Warrick Dunn may be our best options in the free agency.

He remains a favorite of Snyder's, but the owner probably would have to persuade him to seek the job.
someone please explain to me why the He!! we would want a guy that would have to be "persuaded" to be a HC again.

Triple 6...I agree. Rhodes was terrible as a HC ...let him be a DC. I would ...

[quote="BossHog"]While it is great to just pick up FAs like we did last year... you do eventually have to draft some people so that you have young studs.

BossHog...we were lucky with the young FA's that we picked last year...they're in their prime and serve as an instant value to the team now ...

we will address our D-line needs so we will probably get Kevin Jones because White Shirt Vinny will probably go by the theory he went with last off-season when he said Coles was better than any receiver available in the draft. It will probably be the same with Jones.

I agree that we need a RB ...

DEHog, that sounds like a perfect line up. It allows change with familiarity...which is something we lack.

Yeah...and think of the money DS can bring in by marketing a new look. I'm surprised he hasn't capitalized on this already. He may not know football...but you have to admit, he is a successful businessman.

I hope they don't bring Fassel. I think someone like Dennis Green would add instant value to our SKINS. If we can't get a BIG NAME coach in here...it's time to look at the NFL coordinators (both DCs and OCs) and find the best candidate amongst them. The PATS OC and DC are great choices as well as ...

I agree with you triple 6. Corey Dillon would serve us well for a couple years...maybe by then we'll have a featured RB in Ladell Betts by then. Ladell looks like Stephen Davis and I truly believe that he will be running like Davis in the near future. He just has to stay healthy.

I still think Patrick Ramsey is the future, but what we need now is to acquire a veteran to get us through for a couple years. Kurt Warner would be a GREAT addition and someone that Patrick can learn from.

The SKINS need pressure from the ends...the opposing QB's had all day to throw. I am hoping to get Warren Sapp to sew up our Defensive Line.

Agree with SKINS NUT and SKINZ74...the HC has to bring in their own staff, but DS should have some input as well...unfortunateley DS didn't think of this when Spurrier came in with his rookies. For SKINZ74's case, DS did bring in Ray Rhodes as DC under Norv Turner. But it is key that the coaching ...

I can't see DS letting Vinny go...they're two peas in a pod. Actually, Vinny hasn't done bad with recruiting. He raided the Jets and we're on our way to having a solid team. We just need a solid coach.

I agree...we need a change. The spearhead or R with a feather works for me. I'm not for a futuristic design...just something that is classic and part of our Redskin Tradition. The spearhead didn't work for Spurrier, because he was so hung up on not looking like FSU...even went to great lengths to ...

[quote="hailskins666) i think the coach does need to have the final say in personnel decisions. vinny and danny can scout the ranks just like they've been doing, but leave it to the coach to have the final say so. somone with greens experience could tell if a draft pick or free agent would fit his ...

My vote went for Green. But damnit I want Johnson, he'll bring this team from the dumps I tell ya!!!!
