I got an e-mail yesterday about an opportunity to get season tickets next year. Before I get too excited I am thinking that they are trying to sell me club or dream seats. Did anyone else get the e-mail? I've been on the waiting list for about 11 years now.

Have season tickets already been mailed out? If not, when do they usually arrive?

Good to hear about the guy...but he never did mention his background. Does anyone know what his football experience is? Is he an ex coach, or something? How did he get his job?

He was the recruiting coordinator at Notre Dame ...

I heard it was a sprained knee. He'll miss the Miami game but should be ready to practice Monday.

Thanks Brandon. Anytime I hear knee injury and ACL, I fear the worst. I still haven't found any other mention of it online.

Fox 5 News just reported that Lavar Arrington hurt his ACL and will not play this weekend against the Dolphins. They mentioned it at the end of the halftime newsbreak. I hope it isn't too serious. We can't afford to be without Lavar for too long.

Figures that this one would be #10 on their list, even though it was one of Coach Gibbs' greatest experiences of all times. :) I guess this one would be right up there on a similar Redskins list?

Would you be happy if the Redskins were to resign Gardener after the Broncos release him, or would you be upset the the Redskins signed a 31 year old player who played in only 4 games and had only 5 tackles last year? He wants number 80 because that is the number his hall of fame daddy wore.

I don't think Coach Gibbs necessarily meant one of the guys we signed would eventually be a Pro Bowler. I think he just meant that there would probably be a Pro Bowler to emerge among all the undrafted free agents signed by all 32 teams.

Another good one was getting Earnest Byner from the old Cleveland Browns for Mike Oliphant. While Byner was helping us tear up the league in '91, a lot of people were saying that was one of the most one-sided deals in NFL history.

Is anyone else planning on attending the draft party at FedEX on Saturday. I filled out the registration info on Redskins.com, but haven't received any type of confirmation or anything. Redskins.com says "Bring your invitation with you when you attend" Has anyone received the invitation, and if so ...

I just heard that the Redskins play at the Giants week 3, play the Giants at FedEX week 15, and finish the season vs. the Vikings (not sure if it was home or away). The full schedule will be released at 5PM.

Isn't there some sort of rule against a player agreeing to a contract with a team before he is a free agent? If the Redskins had pulled this off, every sports media outlet in the country would allege tampering against the Redskins and run it as their lead story.

There is one reason that Al Davis will not do this trade for Samuels. It is very simple if you know Al. The reason he won't pull the string is because Samuel is not over the age of 35 yet. Al love to get the over the hill washed up players. That is why Al won't trade the pick.

I hate that the agent's bitterness towards the Redskins is impacting Samuels' willingness to restructure (if the public perception is accurate). Shouldn't the agent keep the interests of all of his clients in mind instead of saying the team screwed one of my clients so I am going to give them a hard ...

But why would they play their hand so early? Now they gave the Cowboys and Patriots two weeks to find a way to jump back ahead of them. If they were smart they would have waited until the Bengals were on the clock on the 24th.

Our British friend is spot on with his comment. The Broncos were so frustrated by O'Neal that they were planning to move him to wide receiver this year. He is a very good kick/punt returner, but he is no better than a nickel corner.

You are right it is Madden and Sports Illustrated, but look at the guys who have been on the ESPN games:

NHL - Jeremy Roenick - he broke his face when he stopped a slapshot with his cheek.
NBA - Allen Iverson - is out for the season
NFL - Warren Sapp - he was actually OK this past season
MLB ...

Not to take anything away from Smoot, but some of that is due to the guy that was covering the other side of the field.
