Re: Morgan Moses Given Permission To Seek Trade

I'm with you, Moses played really well last year, it was probably his best year as a pro. I understand the need for cap space but I'd rather see how the new O-linemen play before getting rid of a reliable player.
It's good to be back!

Re: Satisfied with our Draft Selections...?

I'm very happy with the Murphy pick. The guy is a football player, while he may not be as fast as others he appears to be a hard worker who doesn't give up on a play. Even if we only use him as a 3rd down pass rusher this season he could be valuable.
As for Morgan Moses he was graded as a possible ...

Re: 10-Year Club

January of 2004, I remember searching for draft information and finding the site. It is still the best. Thanks Mark.

Still remember the day I met you like it was yesterday Steve. Certainly hard to believe that so much time has passed since then.

I gotta get down there and see you again soon bro ...

Not terrible.

If that is true then I agree it's not a terrible deal for the Skins. I honestly thought it would have been more like $30 million total.

I like this signing, Roberts is quick slot type of reciever. It makes me wonder if Santana Moss might be finished here.

Of COURSE he'll try. Wouldn't you?

Hopefully another team won't drive his cost way up. If we get him for 10 million a year I'm ok with it.

After the 1981 draft the Skin's signed a undrafted free agent named Joe Jacoby to go along with the picks.

Randy White, (HOF) would start over Leon Lett. I think DE Harvey Martin would be on the Cowpies team also.

For the Skins Chris Hanburger,(HOF), over Ken Harvey. I would start Diron Talbert over Darryl Grant against the Pie's. He was a monster against them.

Bowe would be great but I think his asking price could be to high.
Danny Amendola could be a more affordable alternative.

DB help for sure along with O-line help. I would try to draft a offensive tackle and a saftey to go along with FA we pick up.

Finding a LB to replace Fletcher when he ...

I'm just really proud of this team. For the first time in 20 years it feels like we have a team that can contend for a title.
Don't get me wrong I was happy with 2005 and 2007 teams making runs to the playoffs but I never felt they had what it took to win it all.

Monk & Grimm?

Monk was number 1 in 1980 draft; Grimm was number 3 in 1981. Bobby Beathard traded the 1982 first round pick to get a third round when he saw that Grimm was available. Mark May was the first round pick that year...Beathard found Jeff Bostic in 1980 (I can't remember if hey drafted ...

I'm happy with Hankerson's play, I thought he started the year slowly but has really come on as of late. He has made some big catches the last couple of games. Considering the amount of time he has missed because of injuries he might be ahead of a normal young WR as far as development.
