What I was told on another board was that if Cleveland loses two or three (unlikely because Chicago will be resting players) and the Red Sox take two of three, the Yankees will be the division champs and the Red Sox will be the wild card due to the head to head.

I marinate in Coke all the time, as a matter of fact, there's a brisket recipe soaking them in Coke on the way to a tailgate on here somewhere. I don't know why but Coke works much better than Pepsi for cooking.

And CLL, take the actual grilling surface off your barbque before you start your ...

Baseball/White Sox question

I'm confused as to how the White Sox clinched their division today (according to ESPN).

As of 9:00 pm Eastern they have a 3.5 game lead on the Indians with 3 games to play against Cleveland. Cleveland has 4 left including tonight's game against the Devil Rays (the Indians are winning big ...

Here's a really easy BBQ sauce recipe. Tweak it to your own tastes.

Carmelize a chopped large red onion, (about 5 minutes over a medium heat) add a couple of cloves of minced garlic and a few seeded serranos minced with a pat or two more of butter. Cook for about 2 or 3 minutes then add a ...

Whats liquid smoke?

It's exactly what it sounds like it should be.

They condense smoke, usually from hickory chips, into liquid form, strain it, then bottle it.

It tastes like smoked tar straight from the bottle, but the right amount really adds to a dish.

Get a little at your ...

My thoughts ??

Its a B.S. Partisan-based indictment. The prosecutor is a Democrat hack that has been looking for years to get his shots at him. Basically throwing stuff at the wall to see what would stick. My guess is this will be a whole bunch of nothing. But will still affect the House since ...

Strange statistics

I saw some different statistics that might interest you. Washington is the second oldest team in the league, younger than only NO with an average age of 27.66 on opening day. (about a full year older than the league average.)

They also trail only KC's 18 players 30 or older with 16 and only ...

Unless you're in a strange league that plays two QBs every week why are you carrying 3 QBs to start with?

Trade McNair for backup RB, WR or TE help. If both of your QBs are injured the same week, you can always usually pick up their backup if your fairly quick about it. Roethlisberger goes down ...

I voted that it won't change anything because I don't give you a good chance either way, but I do think that Ramsey has the physical tools and mentality to better exploit the weaknesses in Dallas' pass defense better than Brunell does.

A majority of SD's yards and both TD's came by exploiting FS ...

Novak was in the Dallas camp after cut by the Bears for a week after Cundiff was injured and released.

Dallas cant stop anyone on defense, and the bears defense is good.

I'd love to know where this myth that the Bears have a "good" defense started. Is that what one has to convince themselves of to make up for scoring 9 points.

The Bears were 21st (that's the bottom 1/3) in the NFL in defense ...

I'd say it is time for finger pointing. Finding out who made mistakes that worsen a crisis only prepares one better for the next crisis.

Apparently Nagin feels that it's time also, because he's praising Bush's response while blaming the aftermath on "I need 24 hours" Blanco.
