That lame attempt at spin was so pathetic even Al Michaels said something about "getting the other side" after the Kramer piece. Made Cerrato and Snyder look like idiots.

Makes you wonder what exactly they were trying to achieve by saying that crap. Looks like Spagnuolo is not going to talk out ...

Yeah he's in a "rhythm" like the talking heads like to say. I'm pretty sure that's not a good thing.

Three... Jansen, Portis and ARE...

D'oh, I can't count.

No Betts, no Cartwright... so I guess if your contention is that if we lose our top 3 RBs, we're in trouble, you won't get any argument from me.

Mason has looked better than Cartwright this preseason. But yeah, any team would ...

We sat TWELVE starters.

Yeah, but only two on offense. Losing two starters to injury during the course of a 16 game season isn't unlikely.

Also, was that the Jags' second-string defense out there against most of our starting offense? If so I'd say 3 series for 14 yards and an interception ...

I don't know that Campbell throws too hard, but Farve has definitely been accused of that:

ST did drop two ints, but he made spectacular catch on the third one. best catch by someone in a Redskins uniform yesterday. I guess the old man throws a catchable ball nowadays.

Hard to improve that list. I'd add Deion Sanders, but I find him refreshing. Most TV football commentators are clowns dressed like bankers. Sanders is a clown, but he dresses like one too.

It really comes down to, if you don't like it, don't fly.

It's that simple? Why didn't I think of that?

How about if you can't deal with the tiny risk that your plane might be hit by a terrorist attack, then you don't fly? Then the rest of us with backbones can get back to our business trips ...

I wouldn't, but I bet my wife would. I bet my wife's teenage nieces would have a problem with it too. Teenage girls tend to be very self-conscious.

It looks like it's voluntary, though, and so long as it stays that way I don't think there's much reason for complaint. Don't want to get scanned ...

McCown was traded to Oakland from Detroit, where he signed as a free agent after his rookie contract with the Cardinals expired.

Ain't it funny how McCain gets props for denouncing torture and Ron Paul barely gets mentioned?

On the Dem side I like Mike Gravel.

The Church of Scientology is a money-making scam. Hubbard tried it as a self-help scheme at first, and the FDA landed on him like a ton of bricks. That's when he decided to make it into a "religion." This had the additional advantage of getting the IRS off his back, too.

It's an incredibly evil ...

I was just remembering a couple of great, great Redskins upsets in the playoffs. And smiling at the memory.

You made me smile too. The Falsons playoff game was the infamous MC Hammer game. It was proof positive that "swagger" is overrated. It also sadly illustrates why Irvin is in the Hall and ...

Yeah, and Dungy was in TB before Gruden. Dungy's proven he can build a Super Bowl-winning team, since he's done it twice. Gruden built one Super Bowl loser and not much else.

Guys that just drove the Rolls

Which Super Bowl-winning coach is least worthy of the honor because he clearly won using a team he didn't build? Here is my list of candidates for this dubious honor:

George Seifert
Barry Switzer
Jon Gruden

My golden hat and gloves go to Seifert, 'cause he's the author of one of the top two ...
