It's been the D? Our O has what...8 or 9 total plays so far the entire first half? No defense can play the entire half without wearing down! The need a break longer than 3 or 4 plays.

Unfortunately, this is exactly what I expected to see. If we win 8 games again this year, I'll be shocked. Keep upgrading the D in the offseason, but the glaring fact is we have NO offensive weapons outside of Portis who is on his last leg! Gonna be a loooooong season fellas.

The D is going to wear out with play calling like this. Zorn is weak.

If nothing else, I hope Zorn quickly learns better clock management. That problem plagued us the entire 2nd Gibbs era, and apparantly it's still a problem. 3 and a half minutes left in the game and he's handing it to Portis up the middle. The Giants should run across the field and immediately thank ...

I feel like I just watched the Skins beat themselves for 4 quarters. The Giants didn't win this game for themselves, the Skins handed it to them.

I can't believe these coaches are getting paid for this. I could have called a better game. Wow, this is deja vu. Is Gibbs still secretly controlling this offense?

Where to watch the Skins in Capitol Hill area

I'm new to the Capitol Hill area and was wondering if anyone can point me to a good bar/pub to watch the game tonight. I know about decent places like Hawk n' Dove, Finn McCool's, etc. But none of those places seem like good sports bars. Any advice?

I think Gibbs realizes that his return is and was always going to be a short stay. He figured a veteran QB, with all the weapons around him, was the quickest way to success. Unfortunately, two things have happened. First of all, MB has not lived up to the dependable veteran QB that Gibbs thought he ...

I agree with Snout regarding the post game interview. You can't expect Brunell to say "yep, it's time for Campbell, I suck". It is the coach's job to realize when your guy isn't cutting it and pull the trigger on making a change. That question should have been aimed squarely at Joe Gibbs. He is the ...

Am I going crazy or did I see TJ Duckett actually get a carry today?

I agree with pretty much everyone here that: A) The off-season moves this team has made are just mind boggling. We need a GM. B) Why is Mark Brunell still playing for this team? JC needs a shot, regardless of the outcome. Just ...

It may not be all Brunell's fault, but I'm laying at least 90% of the blame on him. The dude is terrible. Always backpedaling and at the first sign of pressure, he chucks it to the sideline. He rarely checks down past his first read. Horrible. Campbell won't do any better, but there's no reason at ...

Even more annoying is that Aikman and Buck acted as if Dick Vermeil invented the art of going for two in the KC game last week. Unbelievable!!! Shows how conservative most coaches are these days. A couple of teams win off of two point conversions and their coaches are geniuses!!! Whatever.

Hate to say it but...Go Eagles tomorrow night!!!

An Eagles win will put the Skins in a 3 way tie for second in the division. We are lucky that the G-men choked today so that they stay only a game ahead. We cannot have the Cowboys joining them in 1st. Go Eagles on Monday night!!!

Carlos Rogers does not suck, give him some time. The fact that he is even on the field during his rookie season speaks to his talents. As for Harris, my thoughts are that he is the weak link on this defense right now. He made a few bonehead plays today and did the same thing last week against the ...

His elbow was clearly down, but absolutely no way the refs overturn that call in Tampa. If the game had been at FedEx, it may have been a different story, but the replays were not 100% clear and therefore there was no chance of them overturning the call. I knew it as soon as they showed the replay ...

The turnovers killed us today. I knew in the 1st Qtr when we turned it over twice in TB territory that this one would be tough to pull out a W. It took a flukey kick return by Betts for us to even have a chance. Brunell needs to learn how to hang onto the football. Watch the replay of his fumble in ...

Okay, noob here to the boards, but I'm a longtime Skins fan. The end of that game forced me to come here and sulk with other fans. Why oh why the penalties on that extra point at the end of the game? Just let them kick the extra point and you still have 58 seconds and a couple of timeouts to move ...
