While I'm a firm believer that mild does a body good, that can't be the only thing. You can have bones as hard as steel from all that milk, but what about muscles, tendons, ligaments, etc. He must be doing yoga, plyometrics, ballet (?). Whatever it is, I would try to learn from him (ahem Haynesworth ...

Tampering Charges

The Titans are claiming the 'Skins tampered with Haynesworth. Truth or sour grapes?

Too agressive

Well, let's go a little deeper. Why was a double-safety blitz called on 3rd-and-13? If at least 1 one safety was over the top, the Torrence pay would never have happened, I think.

The Falls

Not to bring back a bad taste in our mouths, but I'm glad the Falls closed down.

Anyway, glad to hear there's another spot in NYC for a 'Skins fan. See you all there!

Without being a fan

I know it's hard, but take yourself out as a 'Skins fan and ask youself if the deal was fair?

No jail time at all? Some speeches and scholarship contributions worth less that what he carries in his wallet?

LaVar finally with the Giants

Are the Gimps finally signing LaVar? Looks like he had a physical with the team yesterday as reported by Fox Sports.

Jason Avant

How about Jason Avant from Michigan? He's a prototype #2 possesion receiver. Big, good downfield blocker, physical.

Only negs about his is that he doesn't have breakaway speed and not very good on jump balls.

Stovall

Being an ND fan, I think Stovall is good, but Smardzija is better has is both a downfield threat and a reliable possession-type receiver. Too bad (for the 'Skins) he's coming back to ND (but good for the Irish).

well

Speaking of his mechanics, it was a designed roll-out play to give him space, plus it was a deeper throw so a bigger wind-up was probably necessary.

What we need to see is how he throws in the pocket with like 10-15 yard passes that require a quicker release.

My only worry is

The only thing that bugs me is that I hope the two sides of the ball don't become too autonomous, meaning there's no team cohesion. Like, ok, you're defense and I'm offense. I hope Joe Gibbs the team together and thinking like one cohesive unit.

Good article but

THis was actually a pretty good article compared to the Times' usual 'Skins drivel. Most of the points are obvious. The only thing I don't agree with is giving Campbell the keys outright next season.

British accent

As an aside, if Saunders British does he have the cool accent and all?

Just hearing him call plays in that accent will be awesome enough. It's like M telling James Bond the parameters of his next mission. Bond being Mark Brunell, etc.

God this is a silly post, but I had to do it!

Shut up

How much do you wanna bet that if Snyder says something silly, Gibbs will straight tell him to shut up - in a nice, Christian way, of course?

Simms has one guy

I think it'll come down to our D-Line and some of the secondary to come up to the line and defend the run. That's the only thing the Bucs can really do. Simms has one viable threat, Galloway, shut him down and they are one-dimensional. I think GW and the Defense is going to have a field day.

Sean Taylor's Day

Is it me, or did Sean Taylor have a monster game in Philly? I mean, none of the broadcasters hardly mentioned it but ST was all over the field popping people in the mouth. He then capped the day with the eventual game-winning TD. Any thoughts?

it's not the team

I think King doesn't like Snyder, not the team itself. By extension, he bashes the team.

I had lunch with him a year or two ago and he said that the Redskins have bright future, as long as Snyder's not the owner. Not exactly in those words, but that's what he meant.
