Re: OK....it's time to say "he's a bust".....
I have a sneaking suspicion Gruden is harder on Doctson than would be normal, because Doctson is direct competition for his favorite player of all time, Ryan Grant. Not saying Doctson isn't always injured (because he is), but Gruden is particularly harsh about him...

Re: Dysfunction acting like the sky is falling
This is honestly worse than even the Cerrato years. What they did two years ago was bring hope...in that they hired a legit, top-notch GM and basically told us he was running the show.
And now look where we are. It's awful. And it's going to get worse.
No hope.

Re: The Smart thing to do with Cousins
You know, we really should have drafted Tom Brady in the 5th round in 2000 instead of Quincy Sanders, too.
Stop the strawman, please. No one, I mean NO ONE, thought Prescott would play like he has.
Or else he would have been the first pick in the draft.

Re: Redskins @ Eagles
Defense sucks as always.
I wonder if they can scratch Joke Barry off the list, too?
That team depserately needs a good DC.
If you listen to the announcer he is making a strong case for Barry... and why he's Doin his job, but the players are not.
Breeland has regressed back to high school ball ...

I know we don't exactly have the 1985 Bears on Defense, but we're playing an utterly inept offense and getting smoked on defense.

Re: Cousins Is The Best Redskin In Decades
Ken Houston was better than Sean Taylor but you have to be of a certain age to know that. Ken Houston was the best ever at his position.
Sean Taylor might have become that but he wasn't given the opportunity.
I missed seeing Houston by like 2 years. I was born in 1973 and he retired in 1980 ...

Re: Cousins Is The Best Redskin In Decades
I'm 65 so I've been watching well over 50 years. I think Cousins is the best Redskin I've ever seen.
QB I think you can make a colorable argument, and I wouldn't actually take you up on that. I'd actually agree.

..we put Trent at G when he returns?
No. Trent is the best left tackle in the league. He's also already stated he hates playing guard. Put Nsekhe at Left Guard.
I don't know how good Nsekhe is at guard. But he's super valuable as a backup tackle who can step in when a player needs a break ...

Cousins just earned a ton of money last night. Those throws into the teeth of the wind in the 4th quarter were money.
Like you could hear the sound of the cash registers ringing as he was throwing them...

Re: Cousins and the Cap
That would be a $4MM paycut for Garcon. I can't think of a single reason why he would or should take a paycut.
I can: he'll be a 31 year old #2 WR. He's finishing up a 5 year $42m contract. I'd be surprised if anybody is matching that this time around.
He absolutely would take $10 million. Not ...

How can the defense look decent in the first half and so inept in the second half?
Nice second half adjustments, Barry.

Re: Redskins vs. Browns Post-Game
I'm just not sure where you see all of the talent on our defense right now. I'm pretty sure we have exactly one first rounder on the field.
It's actually 3; Kerrigan, Ziggy Hood, and (barring injury) Hall.
Compare that with the offense. We started NINE players on Sunday that we drafted. The ...

Interesting. Though I think this year is a weird one; for 2017 we have the following committed:
Offense: $54,461,074 Defense: $56,207,857 Special: $2,190,000
Makes more sense?

Re: Redskins vs. Browns Post-Game
Last week the defense held the Giants to 6 points in the 2nd half. This week they held the Browns to 3.
And...we want to fire Joe Barry?
Conversely, we gave up 21 in the first half to the Giants, and 17 (albeit with a turnover deep in our territory) in the first half to the Browns. Overall, we ...

Re: Redskins @ G-strings postgame
Agree with both. I am no Barry fan, but you don't make changes mid-year. That VERY rarely works out. I also agree that this franchise has had WAY too much turnover over the years. We need some continuity. If our DEF even closely resembles what it has looked like these first 3 weeks, then changes ...
