Exactly! I'll never root for dallas. We should have played better this season instead of wishing for help from the girls.

Personally I'm not talking or thinking football until after the funeral. No criticism to anyone who thinks otherwise, but right now even the Cowboys winning just doesn't matter.

I agree. I am not really even looking forward to the game on Sunday. I'll watch it of course but football just doesn't ...

There is no way that someone could ever come into the organization and fill ST's shoes.

Just no way.

# 21 will forever be known as Sean's number.

My 2 cents

This is just devastating. I have to admit I had tears in my eyes when I heard the news on the tv today.

I hope the police quickly locate the idiots responsible for this.

To say that those responsible for this are "idiots" is being too kind. Those that are responsible for this cowardly act are ...

I don't think that now is the time to even be having this conversation. There are more important things that we as fans, this organization and most importantly his family have to deal with going forward. Retiring his number should be the least of anybody's worries right now......

It's not gonna happen. He didn't play long enough to warrant the retirement of his number. It's not like the Raiders retired Bo Jackson's number.
How does Bo Jackson relate at all to this topic?

Once again, I'm not asking for everybody to agree with me on retiring #21.

And if the Redskins ...

The Official Retire #21 Thread

If you do not agree, that is fine by me. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and I did not start this thread to debate the topic.

I believe the Redskins organization should retire his jersey #. I will send a letter to Redskins Park urging them to do so. I hope that all the other Redskins & Sean ...

I too believe the Redskins should retire his jersey #. I urge that everybody who shares this belief write the Redskins organization to let them know how important it is to us.

I find very difficult to believe that a man with TO's ego would do something like this. I'll believe it when I hear it from his mouth orin an official statement from the Cowboys. Or from ESPN, since they're so trustworthy.

Agreed. Football is an afterthought at this points as it concerns T.O. If these reports are true, I hope he gets the help he needs to become a healthy human being.

It was a bad call through and through.

Only on instant reply can you really even tell that Sean hit the guy after the pass is incomplete. The ball leaves the receivers hands and deflects off of Sean's jersy as he makes his hit! How are safeties supposed to react to drops that quickly? When the ...

On 2nd thought, I might have thrown the flag too. It wasn't an intentional helmet-to-helmet hit. Sean kept on his feet in did not launch. Launching into the WR would clearly establish intent. But the WR was in the air and descending as Sean ran to make the tackle. Sean did lower his head and their ...

I agree. Sean's mistake was going after the punks who stole his ATV's (who also went around stealing other ATV's afterwards). But he was the victim of a burglary. The punks CLAIMED he pulled a gun on them. That is what started this whole public mess. Why should we believe those punks who are running ...
