And as far as Coach Gregg making this a "power struggle." Please. That's just dumb. If he thought LaVar could help the defense play better than it is, LaVar would be playing. These coaches get paid to win.

My perception is twofold: (1) the coaches want LaVar to stay healthy (in practices) for ...

I'm not doubting his skills, nor his desire to "entertain" the home crowd, but he certainly needs to be proactive about mending the situation with his coaches, rather than waiting on them to come to him (as he hinted on his radio spot yesterday) to ask him to play. That's just childish.

I ...

Another take:

Why To Watch

This is a matchup of coaching brilliance between Bill Parcells, a future Hall of Famer, and Joe Gibbs, who already is enshrined in Canton. Gibbs' Redskins lost both games to Parcells' Cowboys last season, but by three points each time. After widespread offseason ...

Chicago stacked the line, but it didn't matter, Portis and Betts still had running room.

But I agree, if the Skins lose the turnover battle, they will not beat Dallas.

Some Hope From An "Expert"

Washington 19 *Dallas 16 -- The Redskins are benefitting from a "soft" opening to the season, including this second-week matchup against Divisional rival Dallas.

I must say that I agree. The Skins' D will cause many problems for Dallas' inferior O-line. Couple that with Dallas' shaky D ...

It's Dallas Week

I know the Skins' offense didn't light it up this Sunday, but this is Dallas Week! Where are the threads? This is not only our mortal enemy, but this is a HUGE divisional game. If the Skins go down to Texas and smack the Cowgirls in the mouth, they roll into the bye week at 2-0. If they fail to ...

This game is easy to pick.

Skins 27
Bears 6

The talent disparity on both sides of the ball is unbelievably in favor of the Skins. There isn't a single Bears' unit that is better than any Skins' unit.

Well your recipe is flawed. Ramsey will not make or break this season.

How many teams in the past 5 years have made it to the playoffs - much less won a playoff game - without a solid QB? Maybe 2: the Ravens and the Bears. History shows that the overwhelming majority of the time, a team needs ...

I don't see how anyone can predict what the Skins will do this year. Right now, they are a "6-10" team with an unproven QB. That's not exactly a recipe for success. Which is why the "media" is picking the Skins to do so poorly. While I'm hopeful that Ramsey steps it up, and that the team assumes the ...
