Re: what's up with Trent Murphy?
To me it looks like he gets caught in no-mans land often. Not quite dropping back far enough to get into proper pass protection, or never quite getting to the QB when he rushes. Believing that Preston Smith will be getting more playing time soon. Maybe he can at least get to the QB.

Re: Schefter: Redskins brass at odds over ending RGIII era
Time to live and die with the Kirkster. And the time is now to cut Griffin.
OK - I agree that Cousins should be the starting QB, at this time - however, are you aware of what the cost is to cut Griffin?
Glad you asked. Per Rich Tandler:

Well somebody just pulled the switch. BREAKING NEWS: ESPN just reported that Captain Kirk has been named our Game 1 starter. So, where does that leave us now with RGIII?

Re: Galette may be done
Not to go off on a tangent, but I was just reading about whether or not Kerrigan would be cleared to play on Saturday v. the Ravens. No way would I play him this preseason.
He may need some work in a real game, but I wouldn't let him go for very long. Of course, all it takes is one play or one ...

........... and P. Smith needs to step up even more now. Sucks! Season over before it started. We never got to see Kerrigan and Galette paired together to see what they could do.

Better outlook. Coach Jay says it's now 4-6 weeks. Maybe be back sooner after his 1 game suspension.

Re: Haslett & Redskins "Mutually Agree" to Part Ways
Christmas wish granted. I think, if you look close, Haz's dismissal was predicted long ago by many last year, or even the year before that. The 3-4 has not worked here since he brought it in for many reasons.
I'm not sure that we're moving on from the 3-4 though. I would suspect that is not the ...

Keep defending the weaknesses of the team. It will guarantee further disappointment. Haslett SUCKS, okay?
So. Not blaming the coach because I blame the player is defending "the weaknesses of the team"... LOL

Re: GAMEDAY THREAD: Cowpokes at Skins
True that players play the game but it is up to the coaches to train and prepare the players to play the game. Thus lays the fault of Haslett, Morris, and maybe a couple of other coaches. That, or our perceived talent level is really that much lower than other teams and that then lies at the feet of ...

That's just adding insult to injury. No class move by the Pukes. But it paid off for them. Maybe that will piss the Skins off and they'll get fired up now.

Re: Bucs at Redskins game thread
It may appear that they gave up and let the clock run out, but this team actually gave up way back at the beginning of the game. Maybe, even before the game even started. This team is divided, fractured. Not quite sure what it will ever take to heal the wounds anymore. Losing to the 1 win Bucs makes ...

Looks like everyone has given up. No hope now. Is there? Why ios Perry Riley covering their best WR? Failure on both sides on the ball, and the coaching staff too. Ryan Clark blew coverage...
Then that's 2 on him. Didn't want to believe it, but the evidence now strongly points to this decision to ...
