During the 11-0 season last year for Auburn

Hmm, I thought we went 13-0 last year :?:

But I do remember going 11-0 in 1993...but Jason Campbell was like 11

ASHBURN, Va. — John Dunn was just making conversation.

The Washington Redskins, the team Dunn serves as strength coach, were in the midst of an early offseason workout. Redskins coach Joe Gibbs watched as Dunn walked ...

Nope, I only single out guys that have the audacity to fight the NFL rule and come out as sophmores. The vast majority of these guys are immature either in their personal lives or in their gameplay. Obviously that varies by individual. Very few NBA players make it straight out of high school. MLB ...

Mike Williams might not be a thug, but it is he a team-player? Leaving USC that early to seek individual gain could cast some doubt in coaches' minds. I think that is the issue here. Only time will tell...

I wrote about Washington in a previous post; he is the real deal, a genuine good guy. I swam for Auburn in the early 90's and I remember when AU recruited him (I'd just started grad school). He played TE in high school and I think he was a ** or a *** recruit depending what publication rated him ...

Johnson is another Auburn guy so I'll try to add some insight. I remember him well, he was a good TE at Auburn that just came out to the NFL too early. He was a good receiver and I distinctly remember him running over a safety on route to a touchdown in a game against a SEC opponent. I don't know if ...

I'm 100% behind Jason Campbell as a Redskins fan and Auburn alum. I'm 100% against him playing this year because it would be unfair to Patrick Ramsey and unfair to a rookie quarterback who needs at least a year with a clipboard in his hand. Get behind Ramsey because he is the quarterback and he ...

Just a note...

Most recruiting analysts rated him as a 2/5.

I think that the Rosenhaus mentality destroys teams. Players end up focusing on the almighty $ and not what they need to do to improve their play and make their teams better. I wonder what percentage of his clients played at "the U." I agree with other agents that Drew Rosenhaus is a special form of ...

Rigg- Are you sure you were watching the 2004 season and maybe not one of the previous ones? Against the defending National Champion LSU Tigers, Campbell won the game for them. A good, character-based team is an environment where a Dexter Manley and George Stark thrive; e.g., the 80% reign in the 20%. Washington hasn't had that type of situation since Gibbs left.

The ultimate "glamour" pick had to have been Deion Sanders, what a waste! Mike Williams is a risky pick to ...

Where have glamour picks gotten the Redskins?

I'm not sure about every single one, but it seems that as fans we haven't gotten too much for Daniel Snyder's money. Talented, characterless players see the Redskins as a golden cash cow. For heaven sake, we even hired Stever Spurrier (who I ...
