Re: 2019 Offseason Chatter
Moreland is about the same size as Darryl Green. Remember him? Yeah, we all do. If Moreland turns out to be half the player Green was, we got the bargain of the draft.

Re: 2019 NFL DRAFT
Does anyone remember Frank Budd? He was the fastest man in the world from the Olympics. He was a gigantic failure as an NFL receiver with the Redskins.

Re: Doctson
Well, the Redskins declined to pick up Doctson's 5th year option. Good for the Redskins. Doctson has done nothing to warrant even being kept. If he goes somewhere else and has a banner year, so be it. Someone mentioned Cousins as an example of someone leaving and having a better year elsewhere. He ...

Re: Possible QB options for 2019?
Outside of RGIII, I don't remember many rookie quarterbacks that had a better than a somewhat good first year. There were some but most did decidedly better their second or third year. Goff and Mahomes are prime examples of that. Goff had a bad first year and Mahomes sat the first year. I am all for ...

It seems to me that this is a nothing move other than to blow smoke up the fans posteriors again. Keenum is not better than McCoy. He just had better surroundings to work with.

Re: Snyder & Allen cannot find anyone to work for them ...
There are many complaints about Bruce Allen, all earned by him. You guys keep saying he isn't doing his job very well. You are wrong, he is doing his job very, very well. He is doing exactly what Snyder wants him to do. He is not a knowledgeable football executive but he is an excellent kiss ass.

Does anyone have concerns that Snyder could move the team? The Colts, Rams, Raiders and Chargers did it.

Re: Snyder fires business VP Lafemina and his execs
I have been a Redskins fan since 1945. I still have the autographed football that Turk Edwards gave me. In all of those years, I have seen the great, good, bad and rotten. I can attest that the Redskins have never been as bad as they have been since Snyder bought the franchise, in my opinion. There ...

Re: Swearinger cut
I have been a Redskins fan since 1945. I have seen the great, good, bad and really bad teams. This years version of the Redskins is one of the worst if not the worst. Yes, Swearinger should not have said what he did publicly but he only said what is true. Manusky called a lousy came. I hoped Gruden ...

Re: Pessimistic about the season, optimistic about Josh John
Several posts have talked about injuries. This is the second year that the Redskins have been hit with major injury numbers. What gives? Do the Redskins not have a trainer who is responsible for making sure these athletes are properly conditioned? I remember many years ago (about 50) when the ...

Re: Reuben Foster
There was an article two days ago where Peterson said he still does it. I do agree with kids getting spanked for misbehaving as long as it does not cause injury. I think people who discipline their kids care about them and want to see them grow up to be responsible adults, reasonable discipline is ...

Re: Reuben Foster
Let me say emphatically that I certainly don't condone what Foster is accused of but seems to me that the criticism towards the Redskins is the usual bash the Redskins mentality. There have been dozens of players (Peterson for one), both currently on teams or now retired that are/were charged of the ...

Josh Doctson??
Does anyone see any value in Doctson? He has been mostly invisible in the first games and is now injured again. Even when he has been healthy, he hasn't contributed much. Hopefully, the Redskins will get rid of him at the end of the season.

Re: Skins @ Cardinals 9/9/2018
Hopefully todays game is what is to come. Peterson played very well and Dunbar showed that he belongs. The defense paly extraordinarily well today While Arizona isn't one of the powerhouse teams in the league, it is encouraging to see the offense and defense play so well.

He wants to play football again. I have mixed emotions about him. On one side, he walked out at the last minute. On the other side, the Redskins would have just continued playing him even with the injury issues. I don't blame him for taking care of himself first.

Re: Alex Smith traded to Washington
I don't see the Redskins taking a quarterback this year. Smith and Cousins are roughly equal in their statistics, per several comparison articles. There is one thing the articles leave out, and that is Cousins propensity to throw interceptions at critical times during the game. He effectively killed ...

Re: Alex Smith traded to Washington
Tagging Cousins now would be the ultimate in stupidity. I have been of the opinion that Bruce Allen is a waste and should have never been allowed to join the Redskins. He failed in Tampa and has failed here. Snyder seems to be drawn to those who kiss up to him. First we had Cirrato and now Allen.

I didn't attend Kirk Cousins discussion because it is to far, about 800 miles, but have read the newspaper accounts. Re: Redskins at the Giants in the finale for 2017
Well, Kirk had another day of great passing yards.(snikker) Three interception, one touchdown and one field goal against the Giant team is as embarrassing as the other washout games. while the Redskins do not have any idea of a replacement, I still vote to let Cousins walk. He is a waste of time for ...
