My impression is tha Gibbs and the coaches say what players they want, and Snyder finds a way to get them, and to keep the Redskins under the salary cap

I think that may be the problem though. You need a GM to step in and say "NO" now and then to the coaches who want to "win now" at the expense ...

Charles Johnson is ok too. No way we can get away with getting into the 2nd this year for a 3rd or lower in 2008 though

I see numerous teams that find ways to move up and down in the draft and somehow alway have a ton of picks and seem to get what they need. I think that having our team not really getting value out of the majority of decisions that we make tends to weigh down on me. Not to mention it doesn't ...

Watching ESPN right now -

MESHAWN just said " Speed is over-rated at the WR position"

He then brought up tall lanky receivers like himself and also mentioned Michael Westbrook...

Clearly Meshawn is not well.

I did though - I'm just scratching my head as to why they drafted who they did.

VERY good trade for them in terms of fleecing Cleveland.

And good move moving back up into the 1rst with the extra picks they got.

But then to take a "tweener" DE/LB when they already have a few and not to take ...

TC - you guys got a million of those on your roster in the past 3-4 years. At some point you need to address your WR deficiencies. Don't get me wrong - I'm GLAD you passed on a WR there but that was a stupid move.

Dallas just basically got a top 10 pick in 2008 for a 3rd and a 5th and a drop of only 4 spots.

THATS the way you do the draft people !!!

I don't think he has either. We'll probably end up trading our 2008 1rst rounder to pick up Alan Branch in the 2nd round today.

Yes - I think the Browns got the top OT and QB. I think though that Dallas came out VERY well in this trade.

Unless Quinn is another Peyton, Dallas made out well. A high 2nd isn't far from the 22nd pick and Cleveland will suck again this year so the 1rst next year will be a high one

My wife is Thai. I've been trying to get her to try out for the Redskins Cheerleaders for years now (she cheered at American University). Alas, my wife is a Gints fan

Believe it or not, the girl in the picture ...

WHich 2008 pick do we trade away to draft again in Day One??

Ok - since Danny likes to make a splash we'll no doubt fall in love with someone who slid into the second or late 1rst.

So since our "braintrust" has conveniently traded away our 2nd 3rd asnd 4th picks this year we're left with our FO frantically trying to trade with a team to pick this guy ...

Hello again everyone - BTW !!!

Landry was a safe...no miss pick

So was Desmond Howard at one time.

Anyone remember Gibbs telling us that he "has no holes"?

The ONLY way this pick makes sense is if the D-line miraculously improves.

I posted too soon...

HELLO AGAIN !!!

Hello everyone - just stopped by to say hello today while I watch the draft.

Been busy the past few months with work (barely enough time to do much on the 'net) and dealing with my wife's accident.

Hope everyone has been well.

Well said CLL...

Insane you said the following:

Man, Ive been a fan my whole life, I've only been able to see 2 Playoff's , and I never give up on them.

That says it all my friend...that says it all !!! Look at other teams that have had home playoff games multiple times in the past 10 ...
