I may be a bit bias but #44 has to be on the list. I can see were all those numbers can't be retired but I think a least a handfull should already be retired. IMO, those that I listed are the most likable to consider.

Retired Numbers?

The Redskins only have one number retired, does anyone know why or when more will be retired? IMO all these numbers need to be put in glass.

I have to disagree with that one. He don't make a good zit on Jack Kent Cooks azz. It could be worse imagine having Al Davis as an owner.

True Dat, but IMO the smartest thing Snider has done since he's owned the team was get Joe ...

A big reason that Irvin got in IMO was because of the quality of the QB he had throwing to him. Can you imagine if Monk had played with a QB like Irvin had? OR, conversely, what chance would Irvin have of being there if he had played with the QBs that Monk had?

I am not saying that Irvin does not ...

Also that should be added to this, Irvin got a lot of his stats before the push off rule came into effect, which is also known as the.............M.Irvin Rule. Not hard to catch a ball when your 6'4 and push the DB off of you about 5 yards. After that rule went into effect, Irvins numbers went down.

Yes, character should count, but Monk was a better player, simply better, than Irvin.

What???

Irvin, over his 12-year career, averaged 13.25 games played a year, 62.5 receptions and 992 receiving yards per season (and yes, this includes the injury or suspension years). Monk averaged 14 games ...

The Skins have a good spot in the draft as well a good core to work with. Now that Campbell is the starter, I think that will help a lot. Also, you can never count out a guy that has 3 superbowl championships and 3 nascar championships. I see a strong play off run next year.

This guy is training camp fodder. He doesn't count.

Don't get ahead of yourself. I like this signing. He was signed for special teams and will help improve our unit. He has been a solid member of the Panthers. Now it's time for him to be a solid member of the Redskins.

I think this guy is just ...

I think this is a very good pick up for this team, Brian will fit in real nice in DC. He is a real good special teams player and a reliable back up when called upon.

Re: SOME PLAYERS THAT MIGHT BE RELEASED

Chad Morton should be one of the first to go, he is way to exspensive and has not really done anything to justify his salary. Lennie Friedman, he is a career backup ,should be able to draft a guard / center. Rock Cartwright i like him and he plays special teams but i think the team will release him ...
