I can't say I was happy about the contract, but he is a Redskin and as such I support him 100%. Hopefully he'll continue to improve under Buges and help make the dirtbags a respectable unit.

Joe Jurevicius

Good morning everyone! I can't tell you how excited I am that Casey Rabach is the biggest FA news of the day! Not only do I think he'd be a major asset, I also believe he be relatively cheap.

In the "cheap" vein, what are everyone's thoughts on brining in JJ to compete as a 3rd or 4th WR? I'd ...

What has happened is the Redskins have turned the corner on how they handle FA. There is no insane need to chase every big name any more... We havge the nucleus, and we're just going to add a few minor touches at this point.

I'd like to bring in Anthony Henry if Smooty doesnt get re-signed. I really dont feel like overpaying for someone like Samari Rolle, especially when new rules heavily favor wideouts. Henry's a ballhawk who can compete for the number 2 corner job with Walt Harris... As for Casey Rabach, I dont see ...

With all this talk about Smoot and Pierce (both of whom I want back at the right price) has anyone heard anything specific on our big Samoan in the middle? All I've heard is that we want to sign Salavea, but nothing specific?

I'll pass but only because of the money. I'm excited that we're looking at less expensive options like Rabach. If the market for Smoot and Pierce gets too hgh then I'll wish them the best and we'll plug in the next guy.

I'd take a look at Davenport. Nobody we get in the fourth round could contribute as much and as quickly. The catch is I think ND is going to get paid and I wouldn't want to commit any serious dollars to him.

I absolutely love this guy and if we draft a center like Jason Brown out of UNC, we can give the kid a few years to be a back up. Rabach is a smart player who won't dominate the LOS by himself, but will be a great captain on the o-line. Great news!!

Without a doubt Art Monk is a true HOF, and if he isn't, then Canton should close their doors to everyone. In an era where I grow increasingly tired of pro sports because of players like Randy Moss, we need more great players to know that you can be professional and still receive the accolades and ...

If we're going to have a chance we have to pressure McNabb. Against the Bengals we could not get to Palmer and in the first half he was able to pick our D apart. You have to hit McNabb and make him uncomfortable in the pocket, thats when his accuracy and decision making suffer.

i agree, but you ...

i've always been a HUGE mccants fan, but i trust the coaches to play the guys that give us the best chance to win. i respect the fact that i am not in every practice so i don't know more that they do...

that said, i'm thinking mccants and ramsey give us a boost and we win this game. maybe that is ...

give the kid a chance. i can't explain why ramsey fell off after a hot start last season, but i know he has arm strength. hopefully PR will regain that swagger that helped him earlier in his career.

I live here in Phiily land and I don't see the media just handing them the SB yet like they did a few years ago... I remember the media started a road to the SB show in week 10 or something...crazy. I think they learned after 3 NFC CG loses to get real. I picked and expect the Eagles to make it to ...

i feel your pain as i am in the same boat. i don't think anyone in the country is giving us a shot in this game. we're the biggest underdog of the week according to the oddsmakers.

tony banks and all those players mentioned from the spurrier era definitely sucked

tony was from the "marty era" (can you call 1 year an era?), and it can be argued that if bank had started every game, we COULD have gone to the playoffs (george got us started on that 5 game losing streak before ...

i think some of you guys are a little off track? there is a difference between a FA bust and a draft bust...

honestly, i think brunell will be here for awhile and probably hasn't started his last game as a redskin. plus he really didn't receive $43 MM b/c NFL contracts are so back loaded that the ...

i am torn here. while i think we will add some guys through the draft, and i agree that we won't be major players in the FA market, but remember we have a limited window of opportunity with Joe back and i think you'll see us add a player or two that could start (maybe on the o and d lines). the ...

I agree Patrick Ramsey does have an awful time with blitzes. I think perhaps he has bad pocket precense. I don't know he just seems to take alot of sacks. Last year it was mostly because of Spurriers fun and gun offense, but he took a few against the Bengals and this year the line hasn't allowed ...
