I guess I don't care about wins or losses in preseason, but our season hinges on Patrick Ramsey (unless anyone is a big Rob Johnson fan out there). I'd like to know we have us a QB and we don't know it yet.

I'm just relieved we don't have to play against The Terror of the Offensive Line, Brendan Stai, since he retired yesterday. :>)

I thought the front office had confidence in it's young defensive linemen when we released BDW. Signing Cannida has the stench of desparation about it.

Seems to me that we'd be better off letting the kids like Greg Scott and Bernard Jackson and Del Cowsette some playing time. Unless someone ...

The Bossman's been telling us in his reports that he observed Rob Johnson sucking pond water.

Did the Post ever report that? Did the Times? Paul Woody?

Fans reporting from camp point out that Rob Johnson isn't getting it done. So within a week, a new vet QB is brought in.

Great post, Boss. I've been hoping that somebody...anybody, other than Barker would step up and want to punt for us. It'll be interesting to see if the F.O. sees it as you do. My feeling is, 'Why keep a guy who's proved he can't do the job?'

How's that offensive line? Aren't they the key to our season? Of course, I guess it's hard to judge them if they're going against a wretched defensive line, but only time will tell.

It troubled me that some pretty big name reporters for some first rate outfits got things wrong so frequently. And while I realize that there are subjective elements to watching football, it bugged me ...
