In my opinion, the following happened in the second half:

1. Level of competition wasn't it. We played (and beat) saints, cards, cowboys, eagles in the first half and lost to the seahawks, 49ers, bengles, and cowboys in the second. Our second part schedule was probably easier than our first.

2 ...

Re: The National Footsie-Ball League?

I agree with all of the changes-- players are bigger, faster, more psychotic, expensive, stronger, better trained, and obviously more dangerous to one another. 100% of players with five years or more of on-field combat suffer permanent neck and/or spine injuries and a reduction in life expectancy ...

Better than what we have now. I am a Penn State fan as well so maybe that plays a part in my opinion. He demolished a realy good team.

I don't dislike Sanchez, I do dislike drafting a QB. The difference between Campbell/Brennan and Sanchez is nothing compared to Heyer vs. an actual right ...

Why are the Redskins doing this... Jay Cutler is not better than Campbell...

By getting involved in this they risk alienating their quarterback and turning this into a season long drama. My guess is this Cutler thing falls through because we don't have the parts to make it work and Jason Campbell ...

The only reason Cutler had more yds is b/c of several factors. The Bronco's were playing from behind most games and also did not have a run game last year either. Also, JC had line issues where he was literally running for his life.

Having a good running game makes passing the ball easier. It was ...

This would have made my day. I would love to see the Redskins FINALLY have a quarterback. This team hasn't had a quarterback since they became my team in the early 90's. Wow! The way I look at it is that history will repeat itself, and we will give up an early round pick before next years draft ...

What? I hope he understands that D Hall is only 25. I'm sure he will probably have an easier time talking to someone is own age like Landry. How old does Cerrato ...

I don't care who the QB is next year as long as it isn't Campbell. Campbell is coming off his best year with a whopping 13 td's in 16 games. What a joke.

i dont think qb is our biggest problem. Its problem in two fold. You can have Peyton passing for us but if you don't have blockers then it doesnt matter. Second we need a reliable 1-2 punch at reciever. Randle El isn't it and Moss is always a hit and miss. Jason is junk in my eyes yes but Cutler ...

JC is going to be OK. We need to get him a big #2 wideout to keep drives alive. We have continuity with him and Clinton, we have addessed the OL, now we need a wideout... Moss is a great wideout, NOT a possesion receiver... need someone that will catch the 3rd & 8 and draw some attention away from ...

Re: Vinny speaks on ESPN

When asked why he thinks, despite spending lots of money in free agency before, the Skins have not made another trip to the SB, "Well, we started last year 6-2 and finished 8-8, and I think we've added some pieces to help us in the 2nd half of the season"

Really? I recall winning because of the ...

Would still like to see us draft a pass rusher. If Orakpo falls to 13 there's no doubt we have to snatch him up. Tired of DE being a need year after year with it never being adressed in the draft. Let's bring Orakpo in and we can brag about a solid D-Line for once. Let's let him and Haynesworth go ...

Rogers is going to leave and go to a team with a pass rush that isn't atrocious and become Walt Harris 2.0.

For those who don't remember, Walt was another "bum" Redskins DB who got burnt... He went to the 49er's and became probowl material.
Um..OK. Interesting way to tell the story. But if you ...

Such a cop-out. Rogers played very well for us last year, on a knee that wasn't 100%. He wasn't even supposed to play until November of last year. He'll be even better next year.

I agree. I will be really upset if they get rid of Carlos. Springs is great when he's healthy but we need Carlos and ...

I said A, he hasn't proven that he is worthy of being a starting QB. He has had over 2 years to prove it and now it's time to make him sweat a little. He needs to earn his position at this point. Let's see who looks better during camp.

His interception streak was due to his longevity and durability. This ...

We had another corner that had paddles for hands and still managed to be a HOF corner, Mr. Green of course.
Green didn't have bad hands. Where are you getting that from? He had at least one INT every season of his career, except the last one.

I agree we need a DT, but I also think we need a DE just as bad. I would actually prefer that we take a DE with the 13th pick. There will be 3 OT's gone by the time we pick so we shouldn't reach on an OT. We should adress the Dline with the 13th pick if we stay put. If our front office is hellbent ...
