Re: Final 53

My original 53 was off by two...

Reiter instead of Cofield and Lanier instead of Jenkins.

thought I did ok otherwise..

And yes Lichenstinker was on purpose.. I like that guy personally, but we need improvement from that position.

Same problems as always

Defense stinks... What's Haslett's excuse now? And can somebody tell me what has Raheem Morris done to deserve to coach our DB's. They are consistently confused. The only one who seems to know what he is doing is Ryan Clark, who we stupidly let go years ago. Hes an aging vet and the best DB we have ...

I stated this in another post but a player like Tavon Austin out of WV would be an incredible addition to our offense. I know this is a deep draft for secondary, thats why you would grab him with our 2nd rounder if hes still there. You can get secondary help in the 3rd round and below...

I know I'm going to be in the minority on this one. And a blind man can see we need secondary help. But I feel we will address the secondary with vet minimums as soon as the dust settles with free agency. There are just a ton of CB and S out there right now. I would go offense with our 2nd rounder ...

You get what you pay for, usually, which is something people here like to deny. "On the cheap" is another way of saying "camp fodder." You don't win Super Bowls "on the cheap." My brother is a Mayor who won't pay teachers a decent wage and is surprised his city offers the worse education in Florida ...

Heyer Penalty

I have no problem with the Heyer penalty. The play was still going on and from the replay he caught him either on the side or the front. Now if he hit him from the back I would have had a problem. Heyer was doing nothing more than "getting Clinton Portis' back". The previous two plays Dockett was ...

Re: Brandon Meriweather Safety Miami 31st pick

G'day and welcome - I'm sure you would agree that even with 2 Champ Baileys & both Meriweather & Taylor back there we still would have no defense without being able to pressure the QB - our secondary last year was not that bad and we were rated as the 31st defense. This is primarily because we could ...

Brandon Meriweather Safety Miami 31st pick

A friend a mine who is good friends with Brandon Meriweathers father told me that he had just came back from DC and the Skins were very high on him. I told him no way they pick him that high, but it all seems to make sense now if the trade down to 31 goes thru. Taylor and Meriweather at Safety ...

You make think Woodson is a moron, but when asked on the NFL Network which player deserves to be in the Hall of Fame and isn't, his reply was quickly Art Monk. He can't beleive he isn't in yet.

Does that mean that Killings made it at DT. Did he get cut?

Where can I find the final 53 man roster?

The way I see it we kept nine DL

Wynn, Griffin, Noble, Daniels,Clemons,Boschetti, Sa alvea, Killings, Evans

Is this right?

Opening Day Bears

Hey Guys, been a long time viewer of the board. Just never got around to posting alot.

I have got some tickets off ebay for the Club Level section 317. How are these seats? They also came with orange parking, is this good? Just wondering where the good tailgate party is at. Can't wait.

Thanks ...

PFW Quote on Molinaro

I found this to be an interesting quote about our sixth round pick.

"The Redskins may have got the most value in Notre Dame’s Jim Molinaro — a very athletic converted defensive lineman who made big strides last season."

This guy is a horse, just seems to be coming back from a knee injury. Has power and speed, doesn't have to much wiggle and doesn't seem to follow his blockers well and runs a little upright. But would be a great pick 3rd round and below.

I am a huge Rock fan though, to be truthful we have too many Hb's Dt's and maybe six Wr's is too many. I like our Wr's though. But, I believe Watson gets traded in the near future, not that he is the worst, but he is the one we have least invested.

I agree for the most part on your projections, we have too many DT's and RB's and I don't like keeping both Bedell and Smith at OT. The Lineman should be Samueal, Fiore, Moore, Thomas, Jansen with Friedman, Dockery, Bedell and God help us Brown at the backups. Also I would like another S, I know ...
