Many close games lately and on any given Sunday any team in the NFL can win….just wish I had better luck picking the winners.\u00a0 I am sure this week the tide will turn.\u00a0<\/p>\n
My week 8 picks:<\/p>\n
Oakland at Baltimore<\/strong>: The Raiders (2-4) travel to Baltimore (3-3).\u00a0 The Raiders come off an impressive win against the Jets last week and the only other team they have beaten are the lowly Chiefs.\u00a0\u00a0The Ravens won last week against the Dolphins.\u00a0 The Ravens has the league’s 26th offense, but have the 2nd ranked defense.\u00a0 Ravens should win easily.\u00a0 Pick Ravens<\/em>\u00a0<\/p>\n Arizona at Carolina:<\/strong> The Cardinals (4-2) travel to Carolina (5-2) in which should be an exciting game.\u00a0 Both teams are playing well.\u00a0 The Panthers are undefeated at home and the Cards are 1-2 on the road.\u00a0 Going to go with home team on this one.\u00a0 Pick Panthers<\/em><\/p>\n Tampa Bay at Dallas:<\/strong>\u00a0 The Bucs (5-2) travel to Dallas (4-3).\u00a0 The Bucs have won 2 straight against the Cowboys’ 2 losses in a row.\u00a0 Dallas is falling apart and they will face one of the toughest defenses in the league.\u00a0 Look for the Boys to lose another.\u00a0 Pick Bucs<\/em>\u00a0<\/p>\n Washington at Detroit:<\/strong>\u00a0 The Redskins (5-2) travel to Detroit (0-6).\u00a0 The Redskins won a close game last week defeating the Browns 14-11.\u00a0 The Lions have the league’s 27th ranked offense and\u00a0are dead last in defense.\u00a0 The Skins have the 7th ranked offense and the 6th overall defense.\u00a0 Look for a blow out.\u00a0 Pick WASHINGTON REDSKINS<\/em>\u00a0<\/p>\n Buffalo at Miami:<\/strong>\u00a0 The Bills (5-1) travel to Miami (2-4).\u00a0 The Dolphins are 1-2 at home and still haven’t found their groove.\u00a0 The Bills should win handily.\u00a0 Pick Bills<\/em><\/p>\n St. Louis at New England:<\/strong> The Rams (2-4) travel to New England (4-2).\u00a0 The Rams have won 2 in a row against the Skins and Dallas.\u00a0 Very impressive.\u00a0 The Patriots defeated a tough Denver team last Monday night\u00a041-7.\u00a0 I look for them to end the Rams winning streak.\u00a0 Pick Pats<\/em><\/p>\n San Diego vs. New Orleans:<\/strong>\u00a0 The Chargers (3-4) travel to London\u00a0vs.\u00a0New Orleans (3-4) .\u00a0 One of these teams need to start winning consistently.\u00a0 Could easily go either way.\u00a0 I am sure this pick will separate a bunch of hognosticaters.\u00a0 Coin flip goes to the Saints.\u00a0 Pick Chargers<\/em>\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n Kansas City at NY Jets:<\/strong>\u00a0 The Chiefs (1-5) travel to NY Jets (3-3).\u00a0 The Chiefs are just miserable this year.\u00a0 Pick Jets<\/em><\/p>\n Atlanta at Philadelphia:<\/strong>\u00a0 The Falcons (4-2) travel to the Stink (3-3) who, incidentally, are still in last place in the NFC East.\u00a0 The Falcons have been impressive this year and have won 2 straight.\u00a0 Atlanta has the league’s 9th ranked offense but they have the 25th ranked defense.\u00a0 Philthy has the 10th ranked offense and the 7th ranked defense.\u00a0 I’m going with the Eagles where they will trade positions with the Cowboys in the NFC East standings.\u00a0 Pick Philthy<\/em><\/p>\n Cleveland at Jacksonville:<\/strong>\u00a0 The Browns (2-4) travel to Jacksonville (3-3).\u00a0 The Browns are 1-2 on the road and the Jags are 1-2 at home.\u00a0 I think the Jags are a much better team than the Browns.\u00a0 Pick Jags<\/em><\/p>\n Cincinnati at Houston:<\/strong>\u00a0 The Bengals (0-7) travel to Houston (2-4) in the make up game from week 2.\u00a0 Really….who cares?\u00a0 Pick Bengals<\/em><\/p>\n NY Giants at Pittsburgh:<\/strong>\u00a0 The Giants (5-1) travel to Pittsburgh (5-1) in which\u00a0could be one of the most exciting games of the week.\u00a0 NY has the 2nd ranked offense and the 4th ranked defense.\u00a0 The Steelers have the league’s 25th ranked offense but the #1 defense.\u00a0 Pittsburgh’s offense has improved lately but will it be enough to defeat the defending champs?\u00a0\u00a0After this week the Redskins will be in first all by themselves.
