The new venue sits approximately 20 miles away in Washington, D.C.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Design Focuses on Crowd Noise and History<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Planners designed the interior to maximize crowd noise. The Commanders want to regain the strong home-field advantage they once enjoyed at <a href=\"https:\/\/the-hogs.net\/blogs\/rfk-stadium\/\">RFK Stadium<\/a>. At RFK, Washington won three Super Bowls and reached two more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Project Details and Future Plans<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The nearly $4 billion project anchors a mixed-use development. At least 30% of the 180-acre site will feature public recreational facilities. Other buildings shown in the renderings serve as placeholders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hksinc.com\/\">HKS<\/a> designed the stadium.
