The Week 9 game between the Washington Commanders and Minnesota Vikings will be the “black out” game. Not only have the field graphics been converted to black, but all fans have been encouraged to wear black. It will also bring former Washington quarterback Kirk Cousins back to Fed Ex Field. You Like That?<\/p>\n

Cousins and the Minnesota Vikings are red hot at 6-1 and sit alone atop the NFC North division. He has thrown for multiple touchdowns the last two weeks, and after a trade deadline deal, will have a new weapon at his disposal in tight end T.J. Hockenson.<\/p>\n

The Commanders will again be led by fan favorite Taylor Heinicke. While the Washington quarterback may not have been all-world so far, he has managed to win both of his starts. Heinicke threw up a wing and a prayer for Terry McLaurin in the last minute last week. He then scampered into the endzone on a one-yard sneak, to steal a 17-16 victory over the Indianapolis Colts<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Commanders will have to try and put aside all of the rhetoric from this week. Is Dan Snyder selling the team<\/a>? That won’t matter to what happens on the field on Sunday.<\/p>\n
