It’s Week 8 of the 2022 NFL season. The Washington Commanders will face\u00a0the Indianapolis Colts in a game that might have been a bit more personal were it not for an injury to Carson Wentz two weeks ago. Colts owner Jim Irsay spent most of the off-season bad-mouthing Wentz and looking like the jackass that he usually does.<\/p>\n

Washington have rebounded from a tough start to the season, and are coming off two straight victories. Last week they beat the Green Bay Packers in a game that saw Taylor Heinicke return to the starting quarterback position<\/a>.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

So who’s available for each team, and who’s not? Washington are still nursing some injuries<\/a>, but here is a list of both teams’ inactives:<\/p>\n

Notes:<\/strong>
\nJahan Dotson is still on the shelf after re-aggravating a quad injury last week. Coupled with the injury to Dyami Brown, Washington would appear a little hobbled at wide receiver. They should still be in good hands withTerry McLaurin and Curtis Samuel who both had good outings last weekend against the Packers.<\/p>\n

For the Colts, this will be their first game without Matt Ryan at the helm. The veteran quarterback has struggled this season, and appears to have been benched at the behest of team owner Jim Irsay. So guess who the whipping boy for the next off-season is going to be? \u00a0Irsay is a real piece of garbage. Why would any quarterback even entertain the prospect of playing in Indianapolis after the owner’s actions in the last six months?<\/p>\n
