The Washington Commanders were demoralized on Sunday. They had their first division match-up of the 2022 season and failed miserably in their 24-8 loss<\/a> to the Philadelphia Eagles. Washington will face another division match-up this weekend when they face the Dallas Cowboys.<\/p>\n

Two teams on different trajectories. The Cowboys were expected to fall apart when they lost quarterback Dak Prescott, but have put together back-to-back wins with Cooper Rush at the helm. Dallas knocked off the previously undefeated New York Giants 23-16<\/a> in the Monday Night game.<\/p>\n

The Commanders started the season on a winning note, but have since dropped their last two. And failed to score a single point in the first half of both games.<\/p>\n

So how is this week’s upcoming NFC East match-up, shaping up?<\/p>\n

Head-To-Head<\/h2>\n

Washington and Dallas have faced each other 124 times. Washington have won 47<\/a> of them (47-75-2).<\/p>\n

The Cowboys won both games in 2021, including humiliating Washington in their last outing – a 56-14 drubbing on Boxing Day last year. They were ahead by so much that the Cowboys pulled Prescott in favor of Rush in the fourth quarter. Prescott had gone 28 of 39 for 330 yards with four touchdowns.<\/p>\n
