Washington will face the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 1 – hoping to make history, and earn their first win as the Commanders. The past off-season was rife with noise for the organization; but come Sunday, the only thing on anyone’s mind will be what’s happening on the field.<\/p>\n

As the Redskins<\/del>, Washington have only lost once against the Jaguars. They\u00a0have won the last four meetings.<\/p>\n

The Jaguars head into Fed Ex Field, looking for their first ever win there. Jacksonville’s only win over Washington came in 2002 at home.<\/p>\n

The two teams have met each other seven times. Washington have won six of the meetings.<\/p>\n

The last meeting between the two teams was in 2018, when Dustin Hopkins nailed a game-winning field goal as time expired to eke out a 16-13 victory for Washington.<\/p>\n
