After spending the previous week in the road, the Hershey Bears took a liking to the home cooking during their two game weekend at Giant Center, running the table and downing two of their divisional rivals, the Norfolk Admirals and Wilkes-Barre\/Scranton Penguins.<\/p>\n

On Friday night, after falling behind in the second minute of the first period, the Bears went on a four-goal run and then hung on nip Norfolk, 5-3. BEARS NIP NORFOLK<\/p>\n

On Saturday night, the Bears bested Wilkes-Barre\/Scranton, pounding out a 3-1 win, in a physical battle against the pesky Penguins. BEARS BRUISE PENS<\/p>\n

With this weekend\u2019s wins, the first place Bears broadened the gap in the standings, and they currently enjoy a six point cushion over the WB\/S Penguins and the Albany River Rats.<\/p>\n
