On Wednesday, Washington placed it&#8217;s most dependable defender on the Covid-19 list &#8211; Cole Holcomb.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Holcomb is the leader of the WFT defense. He calls the signals. He has <a title=\"Holcomb snap counts at PFR\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/H\/HolcCo00\/fantasy\/2021\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">played in all but thirteen defensive snaps<\/a> for Washington this year. And now, he is in danger of missing the Cowboys game this week, which would be a tremendous blow to the WFT&#8217;s defense.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Holcomb has two interceptions this season, including one for a pick six against the Dallas Cowboys just two weeks ago. He leads the team with 120 tackles, and has a sack and two forced fumbles as well.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>His leadership and presence would be sorely missed.<\/div>\n<h2>Other Roster Moves<\/h2>\n<p>The WFT made a few other roster moves on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>Offensive tackle Cornelius Lucas and defensive lineman William Bradley-King were both activated from the COVID-19 reserve list<\/p>\n<p>Defensive end Hercules Mata\u2019afa was waived from the practice squad.<\/p>\n<p>Washington still currently has 12 players on the COVID list &#8211;\u00a0including quarterbacks Taylor Heinicke and Kyle Allen.<\/p>\n<p>Garrett Gilbert signed with the team last week as an emergency qurterback. He played against the Eagles with just a few days of practice, and is still a possibility for the Dallas game.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">Washington dropped to 6-8 on Tuesday night as a result of the <a title=\"Eagles Run All Over Covid-Decimated Washington Team\" href=\"http:\/\/www.the-hogs.net\/blogs\/2021\/12\/22\/eagles-run-all-over-covid-decimated-washington-team\/\">27-17 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles<\/a>.
