The Washington Redskins head to Nashville, Tennessee to face the Titans on Sunday. The game will be played at LP Field and kickoff is 1 PM. The Tennessee Titans are tied for second place in the AFC South, but have lost two consecutive road games, including the lost to the Miami Dolphins (29-17) last week. The Redskins are coming off one of the ugliest losses in the history of the franchise, on Monday Night Football the team didn’t show up until the second quarter, as they allowed the most points at home in franchise history and embarrassed 59-28 by division rival Philadelphia. <\/p>\n
Ten of Philadelphia\u2019s first 15 plays went for at least 11 yards or a touchdown, as Eagles\u2019 quarterback Michael Vick threw for 333 yards and four touchdowns, he also rushed for 80 yards and two scores. The score was 28-0 at the end of the first quarter. If you take away the first 15:15 of the game then you would have a 28-24 Redskins victory, but it’s a sixty minute game and coming off a bye week the Washington Redskins were slow coming out of the gate. Miami quarterbacks\u00a0Chad Pennington\u00a0(shoulder), and\u00a0Chad Henne\u00a0(knee), both left the game with injuries before Titans quarterback Kerry Collins\u00a0had to depart with a calf injury.\u00a0Vince Young\u00a0replaced Collins despite a sprained left ankle, and third-stringer\u00a0Tyler Thigpen took over for the Dolphins. Young threw for just 92 yards with two turnovers and Thigpen led an 85-yard drive in the fourth quarter to\u00a0close out the Miami Dolphin victory.<\/p>\n

— Former\u00a0Washington Redskins\u00a0backup quarterback\u00a0Colt Brennan\u00a0was seriously injured in a two-car crash on Friday in Hawaii, his father Terry Brennan said his son suffered broken ribs, a broken left collarbone and head injuries in the crash, and that doctors didn’t know the severity of the head injuries. <\/p>\n
— Rookie running back Keiland Williams made his first start in place of injured running backs Ryan Torain and Clinton Portis Monday night, he carried the ball sixteen times for 89 yards. Williams scored two touchdowns bringing his\u00a0total to five for the season which leads all Redskins. <\/p>\n
