Good stuff, man. I was going to ask if Trent would have made this list if things hadn't gone off the rails. But I see he got an honorable mention. Still deserves that in spite of everything, I'd say.

He sure is close, but I'd have to nudge Sean to get him in and didn't want to do that. The other 4 in the hall. 2c

He's definitely HOF material too, at which point it might be hard NOT to nudge Sean.

Can't disagree with anything on your list, Boss.

I think with Sean Taylor, history might not really appreciate what we fans were seeing in the year he passed away. He was going to be one of the game's greatest, and we got to see it, ever so briefly. There was something different in that season — he elevated his game to a level most of us have not seen in our lifetimes or since.

Personally, I think Chase Young has a great shot to make it on a list like this 8, 10 years from now. He has the "it" factor that I haven't personally seen since Taylor. (No offense to players like Trent or Kerrigan, of course.)

Gotta like what we've seen so far. Chase Young definitely looks next level. I could not be more excited to see him and that entire defense this coming season.

I don't disagree with any of the comments on Sean Taylor. In some ways he's become more of a legend than he may have if he'd been able to play out a full career.

Thanks bro.

I agree with everything said here on Taylor and Young.

Taylor didn't have the career to make it into the top 5, but his impact on the community was massive and worthy of note IMO.

Chase has everything. He will likely move into the top 5 before his career is over. The only question is how high a slot? i'm not sure one and two can be unseated... ever... by anybody... it would take at least three or four super bowls for one thing.
