Giants @ Redskins
Does this game even matter?

“He was at that time the smartest player in the league. We did everything we could to try to eliminate him from the play. We knew if we didn’t neutralize him, then we had less of a chance of winning.” - John Hannah on Chris Hanburger
Re: Giants @ Redskins
maybe not to you but to me it's a huge game - this is a must win game for the Redskins
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)
Re: Giants @ Redskins
Reportedly Trent Williams said that the injuries have been devastating but the players are not panicking ...WTF - it's time to do something
the mistakes we're seeing in this game and the stupid penalties have to be cleaned up
this is really bad football by our team against a really bad (so far in this game) giants team

Re: Giants @ Redskins
Well, that seals it for the Giants. I was really glad to see Gruden come here but now he needs to leave.

The fans need to boycott the owner...
That owner is the bad seed, the spoiled apple. As long as Dan Snyder owns the team, this will always be the result.

I see those half-time adjustments really fired up the defense.

Re: Giants @ Redskins
Can the league force Dan Snyder to sell the franchise? Asking for the few thousand Redskins faithful who have remained this long.

Re: Giants @ Redskins
Gruden could have signed Colin Kaepernick to back up Colt McCoy. He would know some plays by now. Instead...Josh Johnson, on grounds that Johnson can run a little?

the giants to make a change at QB - unfortunately, he looks better than Eli ... then again, almost anyone is better than Eli

Re: Giants @ Redskins
classic - guys have to lose their jobs after this - some think that firing coaches is a knee jerk reaction
anyone under Snyder that doesn't do their jobs as well as they're capable should not be a part of this franchise

Re: Giants @ Redskins
Anyone who thinks the Skins would have won if Johnson started (or Kaepernick for that matter) doesn’t know football!! This was a HS game with a running clock, Johnson got to come in and play against the vanilla JV team!
Blame injuries all you want, injuries don’t cause 10 men on the field, false starts and a host of other mental errors. This team was not prepared to play a game yesterday…That is squarely on Gruden!!

Re: Giants @ Redskins
IF we keep doing what we've been doing and adding great players regardless of fit and having them be coached by guys like Jay Gruden that are the best you can get because nobody wants to come work here this franchise is going to continue to win 8 or less games no matter who the QB is
IF we don't bring in a new President and GM and give them the authority to manage this franchise it doesn't matter if we have the best HC and the best QB - we're going to continue to be a mediocre franchise -
things aren't suddenly going to get better here - it's going to take a while to fix this mess but that is better than just continuing to be mediocre
