Who might be backup QB?

Re: Who might be backup QB?
I mean, let's be real about it. Snyder was a big Trump $$ supporter, and Bruce Allen is the brother of our former VA GOP Governor. There's zero percent chance that those guys are going to bring in Kaepernick.
Politics aside, I think the problem with Kaep now is that he hasn't played in so long. Just not sure he's still the "best" available no matter what previous connections he had with coaches or whatever.
I guess of the three mentioned I'd probably take Manuel, Sanchez, Yates in that order. What's the story with Sam Bradford btw?
Also, given the potential cap mess the team is facing with Alex Smith, maybe they should be scooping up Paxton Lynch and crossing their fingers they can turn 1st round pick around?

Snyder + Allen = mediocrity
The unpleasant truth is, as long as Snyder owns this team, it will be right where it has been for 20 years. Period.

First off - Adrian Peterson was not thought to have anything left in the tank and look at what he's done - we need to get rid of Bruce Allen
AND
I don't agree with "saving the season" - this franchise was not looked at as having even a small chance at making the playoffs; yet here we are at 6-4 after going 5-3 over the first half - IMO, we have a very good chance at making the playoffs - this team has had some adversity & better teams handle that - we're not one of the better teams but we don't have to be - we just need to be the same as what got us to 5-3 - we just need a little luck - GO SKINS
I'm sure the pukes are very confident about this game this week - they are most likely loving that the opening line has them favored by 9 - even better news is that Jason Garrett is now looked at as possibly getting an extension - hallelujah ....

The O line needs to do a better job protecting Colt - Coach Callahan is one of the best
I'm looking forward to Thanksgiving

Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

Post has also heard that it is Sanchez: https://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/2 ... 39f87d0977
So be it.
Draft in 2019, I hope:
- QB
- WR (hire that guy who drafted Art Monk, Charlie Brown, and Gary Clark, and then found Rickie Sanders.)
- OL
- DL

Re: Who might be backup QB?
There's a silver lining here.
Colt actually beat the Cowboys at Dallas some years ago in MNF (2014).
Other than that, and it should painfully obvious, the no.1 priority should be getting a top QB in next year's draft.
Every victory that comes after Alex's injury is a bonus. It was a good run, though.
